The book grant is awarded to a student who meets the following requirements:
- You must be a Henry County, Ohio resident at the time of graduation from high school or a graduate from a Henry
County, Ohio high school.
- You must be enrolled at an accredited college or university
and is pursuing a B.S. in Education.
- You must be successfully completing the junior year or
the equivalent of three years of college. You must submit the following information before the
postmarked deadline of April 1:
- A completed
application page (found on the downloadable page on the website) with the following information: Name,
Address, Land Phone, Cell Phone, E-Mail, High School, College, Proposed Graduation date, Current GPA, Major and Minor, Signature,
and Date.
- A Resume
- A Current college transcript
- An one page essay explaining why the applicant is applying for the grant
- Two (2) letters
of reference:
- An Instructor from your college
- A non-related
